Lakeville, IN – July 28, 2022 – After a nearly two-year hiatus, Hoosier Racing Tire is pleased to announce its return to the UTV tire market in 2022.
After finding success in both regional and national competitions in 2019, Hoosier Racing Tire had to make the difficult decision to put UTV development and production on hold until late in 2020. As challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic created too many hurdles for manufacturing and maintaining tire inventory.
“Shelving our UTV product line was a very tough decision in 2020,” recounted Vice President of Sales, Paul Menting. “The UTV products, especially the new 30” Bite Knobby Tire, had really gained some momentum in the marketplace and we were extremely excited about the opportunities to expand our UTV market presence.”
The Indiana-based tire manufacturer spent the remainder of 2020 and all of 2021 focusing its production and manpower efforts on core products to maintain supply for an existing business. Fast forward to today, thanks to some manufacturing changes and a renewed focus on expansion into new markets, Hoosier is back to tackle the UTV market again.
Beginning approximately August 1st, Hoosier Racing Tire will release significant inventory on both the 27.0×9.0-15 and 30.0×10.0-15 Hoosier Bite Knobby Tires to its wholesale distribution network. New features to the Hoosier Bite Series’ include an enhanced full depth tread pattern, durable 6-ply rated construction and a higher durometer compound.
